Baku - Azerbaijan
Dr. Ravan Hasanov, Executive Director of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism, affirmed that the lofty Royal Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, has made tolerance, coexistence, and peace a solid foundation for development and prosperity, for elevating human dignity, and for protecting freedom of belief.
Dr. Hasanov also considered, in an exclusive statement to Maroc Newspaper magazine from the capital Baku, that this Royal Vision has today transcended the national dimension to become a "global heritage that is studied, and a key reference to be emulated," from Baku to the various capitals of the world.
Thereby stressing that the royal leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, has made the values of coexistence, tolerance, peace, and interfaith dialogue not merely slogans, but rather a firmly established global reference, contributing directly to consolidating security, stability, and peace among various nations.
The speaker further clarified that the Republic of Azerbaijan, as a pioneering country in religious and cultural pluralism, does not view the "Moroccan model" as merely a local experience, but rather recognizes and values it as a "complementary and influential global model."
Adding in the same context, that the Moroccan model is distinguished by placing religion at the source of societal responsibility, moderation, protection, and balance, while also affirming that the Institution of the Commandery of the Faithful, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, has thus become a "spiritual and civilizational bridge" connecting peoples, and an effective "strategic tool" for preventing extremism, excess, and violent radicalism, while in return strengthening the spiritual and religious immunity of societies with the aim of combating hate speech.
